Welcome to Collyer's Folly. I am a fiber junkie. I like to weave on a computerized loom (an AVL), do Japanese braiding or kumihimo on a marudai and takedai and do costuming (both Japanese and Tudor) for the Society for Creative Anachronism. I have completed part 1 of the Certificate of Excellence in Handweaving from the Handweavers Guild of America. After a 20 year vacation, I have returned to playing in the SCA with old friends. I have started to do Japanese costuming which is a big difference from doing Tudor! My daughter is wanting to go to anime conventions, so good old mom has to start doing costuming for that also. |
